Hola! As promised, here is the second part to my little beach escape. I hope to take more of them in this busy summer. Lately, it’s been so little time and so much to do. That’s life and I’m living it, so it’s all good. Anyway… enjoy!

Hola! So excited to show you my 4th of July Weekend - Day 1. Freddy and I had a lovely time at the Atlantic City, NJ beach. We enjoyed going to the casinos, shopping, eating out, the boardwalk and the beach. Oh yea, we also went out dancing! Yes, one of our favorite things to do. Took some outfit pics for the beach (sorry for the blurriness, taken with camera phone). Hope you enjoy!
Hola mi gente! Along with the leopard print I featured in last week’s post, stripes is another classic pattern I adore. I was so excited to have found this skirt from good old H&M after being on the hunt for the right one for the longest time. The material is stretchable yet feels extra sturdy. Tucked in this silky pink top to define my waist. By the way this color is so pretty. I thought the arrow-like necklace went well with the stripes. As for the shoes…well, there I was channeling Carrie Bradshaw. Manolo Blahniks! WHAT?! And no, I did not go broke for these. My brother’s employer is constantly giving away things that she does not want and these babies were obviously mine! Score!!!

Hola amigos! The other day I got dressed up for absolutely no reason, just felt inspired to put something together. It happens…
My look » I could not agree more with Jenna Lyon’s quote: “As far as I’m concerned, leopard is neutral.” The pattern is such a classic and is versatile at the same time. It goes well when paired with either bright or neutral colors. I went with a white collared blouse this time around. I think the simple gold details of the outfit is what gave this look a lavish feel.
Hope you enjoyed the post! Let me know if you have any questions or requests on how to pair things. Thank you for following!
Freddy, my sweet husband, bought me these shorts last year towards the end of summer and I finally got to wear them! I classied-up this nice geometric patterned shorts with a sheer buttoned up blouse and my nude heels. Also… got my hair did. Just some layers and side bangs. I needed something fresh and ready for summer.
Thanks for following! Have a wonderful day! Besitos! » Jaqi G.
I love, love, love this beautiful dress from my awesome brother this past Christmas! Actually, I never owned a fit-and-flare dress and had no idea that it would fit me so well. As a petite, this type of dress really works for my type of body because it gives me more shape especially at the waist. I opted to pair the dress with these cute booties because I was really looking for comfort that day while still looking classy for church. I think it worked out well. Thanks brother!
I’M ON BLOGGER NOW, SO PLEASE FOLLOW, AS IT WILL BE MY MAIN BLOG LOCATION. It is still under construction so bare with me. I was going to wait to go live when it was all set and perfect but knowing me that will take a lifetime. Yes, I am my worst critique and a perfectionist. I just could not go a day without blogging anymore since I’ve been gone for about 2 months! SMH! Either way, I think designing my own blog will be an ongoing project since I am always coming up with different ideas and what not.
I am still going to post on this tumblr page but, I want my tumblr to be more for reblogging things that inspire me.
Hi guys!!! Sorry for being M.I.A these days. To be honest, I’m thinking about changing things up a bit (more on that later). In the meantime, here’s an outfit I wore to work the other day. I actually got this H&M dress last year, and it came with this awesome belt which I use in other outfits. There is still snow outside, and if you know me, I’m always cold so a long sleeve shirt underneath and some leggings are a must. Due to the massive workload these days, I’ll be posting randomly, hope you guys understand. I’m just so inspired and want to take on some creative projects.
Thanks so much for stoping by and following :) Besitos! » JAQI G.
